Beginners Program

The Pizol’s Beginners Program has been designed to introduce newcomers to art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and self-defense. It is a great introduction for those who do not have any experience in martial arts or full contact combat but are eager to reap its physical and mental benefits. Students are given step by step instructions that establish solid fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and self-defense core techniques. It is a totally exclusive teaching module of our school. It is aimed at the beginner, as he will learn the fundamentals of jiu jitsu in a safe and comfortable environment.This class is taught by professor Pizol.

Beginner Program is divided in 4 steps:

intro classes

This class is necessary for students with no prior experience. The Pizol Brazilian Jiu jitsu provides 3 free lessons with Professor Pizol. This class is designed to help a new students the concepts behind of Jiu Jitsu like names and situation that will be part of the class for example: Passing Guard, Playing guard, Side Control, Back Control etc…

CLASS FEATURES:

  • Warm up that includes games, drills and bjj exercises.

  • 1 on 1 with Professor Pizol.

  • Explanation of Bjj and simple drills

  • Prepares for Beginners 1 classes.

  • 3 classes in this level.

FREE MOVING CLOTHES WITHOUT METAL, ZIPPER OR BUTTONS ARE NECESSARY

Beginners 1

Designed to provide students with a solid foundation of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, basic Jiu Jitsu theory, technique and principles are introduced. Each class starts with flow drills designed to help students internalize the mechanic behind the concepts they are learning.

IF YOU HAVE NEVER TAKE A BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU CLASS, THE INTRO CLASS IS REQUIRED BEFORE JOINING THE GROUP CLASS

  • No sparring

  • 30 classes total in this level.



beginners 2

A continued exploration of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu theory, principles, technique and body mechanics. Positional sparring and drilling are also core components as they help to develop the students muscle memory and physical understanding of the sport.

  • 31 to 60 classes

INTERMEDIATE WHITE BELT

Take a more in-depth look at the principles and techniques. students should have a solid understanding of basic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, fluency in technique, and body awareness. situational attacks, transitions, escapes and strategies are explored, in addition to a strong emphasis on instinctual application through live sparring.

  • 61 to 150 classes.

  

Successful completion of this class will qualify students for the advanced course offered by the academy.
